We offer music classes for a variety of ages:

• Family Music Classes: Designed for ages 0–4 along with a parent or caregiver.

• Piano Lab Classes: Small group piano classes for ages 7–16, from beginner through intermediate levels.

• Adult Piano Classes: Group piano classes for adults of all experience levels, whether you are just getting started or returning to piano after years away.

We proudly serve our local communities with physical studio spaces in both Mt. Vernon, IL and Benton, IL.

Our teaching style is best described as “Magic School Bus meets music lessons!”

We believe students learn best when they are actively involved, having fun, and building confidence. Our lessons use games, movement, creativity, and hands-on activities to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can grow as musicians.

Tuition for our Piano Labs is a flat monthly rate paid year-round and reserves your child’s spot in their class.

Monthly tuition is not based on the number of lessons in a particular month. Our annual studio calendar includes scheduled holidays, breaks, and studio closures, and those weeks are already factored into the tuition amount. This keeps billing simple and predictable for families throughout the year.

Yes! Our Piano Lab classes run year-round, including the summer months.

Summer enrollment is required to guarantee your student’s spot in their fall class. We know summer schedules can look a little different, so families are welcome to request a different class time for the summer if needed.

Continuing through the summer helps students maintain their progress, build confidence, and start the fall ready to continue growing as musicians.

All billing, payments, and invoices are handled digitally through our secure parent portal.

Families can view invoices, manage payment information, and make payments online. A $50 late fee applies to payments received after the grace period as outlined in our studio policies.

We understand life happens! If your child is unable to attend class, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

Our unique small group format follows the pace of each child, so students will not fall behind because of an occasional absence. Makeup lessons are not guaranteed, but families may request a makeup opportunity if there is another class opening available that week.

Families may also request a video exchange to help their child stay connected with the lesson material. Video exchanges must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

Tuition reserves your child’s place in their class rather than paying for individual lessons. Because of this, we do not offer refunds or credits for missed classes, student absences, or withdrawals after tuition has been paid.

• Family Music Classes (Ages 0–4): Just bring yourself and your child! Come prepared to remove your shoes before class and wear comfortable clothing that allows you and your little one to sit, dance, move, and play together on the floor.

• Piano Lab and Adult Piano: We will provide your music books and welcome materials at your first class. Just bring yourself and be ready to have fun!

Yes, students should have regular access to an acoustic piano or a touch-sensitive digital piano or keyboard for home practice. Consistent practice between lessons helps students build confidence and make progress.

If you are unsure what type of instrument to purchase, we are happy to provide recommendations.

That is completely okay! Many of our students begin with no previous musical experience.

Our beginner classes are designed to introduce students to piano step by step in a fun and encouraging environment. Students learn alongside others at a similar level while building strong musical foundations, confidence, and independence.

If you need to withdraw from lessons, please complete an Unenrollment Form by the 15th of the month prior to unenrollment.

Withdrawals received after the deadline are responsible for the following month’s tuition, as your child’s spot has already been reserved and staffing has been scheduled.
